Delivery & Customs Policy
Last updated: September 2026
I carefully package all textile artworks to ensure they reach you safely. This policy explains how I process, package and deliver orders within the UK and internationally.
1. Processing your order
Each artwork is carefully prepared and packaged before dispatch.
Unless otherwise stated on the individual product page, unframed orders are normally dispatched within 5 working days of receiving payment.
Wooden frames are made to order upon request. Framed orders could take up to 12 working days prior to dispatch.
Bespoke or commissioned artworks will have their own agreed production and delivery timescale, which will be confirmed with you before the commission is accepted.
If there is likely to be a significant delay in dispatching your order, I will contact you using the details provided with your order.
2. Delivery times
Estimated delivery times are:
UK: 2-4 working days
Europe: 3-5 working days
USA & Canada: 5-8 working days
Australia & New Zealand: 5-10 working days
Rest of world: 5-10 working days
These are estimates rather than guaranteed delivery dates and may be affected by customs processing, weather, strikes, carrier delays or circumstances outside my reasonable control.
If a specific delivery date is important to you, please contact me before placing your order.
3. Delivery charges
Delivery charges are shown at checkout before you complete your purchase.
Where possible, I will provide tracking information for your order once it has been dispatched.
4. International orders
International customers should be aware that an order shipped from the UK may be subject to import VAT, customs duty, customs clearance fees or other charges imposed by the destination country.
These charges are determined by the destination country's authorities and are outside my control.
Where such charges are payable by the recipient, they are normally the customer's responsibility unless the checkout or order confirmation expressly states that they are included in the price or delivery charge.
Please check the import rules and potential charges applicable to your country before placing an international order.
5. Customs and import duties
International orders may need to pass through customs in the destination country.
I will complete the required export documentation accurately and provide the information reasonably required for customs purposes, including the description, value and country of origin of the artwork where applicable.
The correct commodity code and customs information will be used where required.
Customers are responsible for providing any information required from them by their country's customs authorities and for complying with applicable import requirements.
6. Import VAT and customs charges
For international orders, import taxes and customs charges are not included in the price shown on this website.
If your country's customs authority, postal service or courier requires you to pay import VAT, customs duty, brokerage or clearance charges before delivery, these charges are separate from the price paid to me unless specifically stated otherwise at checkout.
The amount payable depends on the destination country's rules, the value and classification of the artwork and other factors.
I cannot guarantee the amount of any import charges that may be imposed.
7. If you refuse delivery
If you choose not to accept an international delivery because of customs charges or import taxes, this does not automatically constitute cancellation of your order or relieve you of your responsibilities under this policy.
Please contact me before refusing delivery so that we can discuss the situation.
If the parcel is returned to me because delivery was refused or because required import charges were not paid, additional return or handling costs may arise.
Any refund will be dealt with in accordance with your applicable statutory consumer rights and my Returns & Refunds Policy.
8. Customs delays
Customs authorities in the destination country may hold an order for inspection or request additional information.
I cannot control the length of time an order remains with customs and therefore cannot guarantee delivery dates where customs clearance is required.
If your tracking information shows that your parcel is being held by customs, please contact the relevant postal service, courier or customs authority promptly.
I will provide reasonable assistance with information relating to the shipment where I am able to do so.
9. Delivery address
Please make sure that your delivery address is correct before completing your order.
I cannot be responsible for delays or failed delivery caused by an incorrect or incomplete address supplied by the customer.
If you realise that you have entered an incorrect address, please contact me as soon as possible. If the order has not yet been dispatched, I will do my best to correct it.
10. Safe delivery of artwork
Textile artworks are carefully packaged to protect them during transit.
Please inspect the outer packaging when your order arrives. If the packaging appears significantly damaged, please photograph it before opening the parcel where possible.
If the artwork itself appears damaged, please contact me as soon as possible and provide photographs of the artwork and packaging.
Please do not attempt to repair, alter, clean or otherwise modify damaged artwork before contacting me.
My statutory obligations and your consumer rights regarding goods that are damaged, faulty or not as described are not affected by this policy.
11. Lost or delayed parcels
If your parcel appears to be delayed or lost, please contact me so that I can investigate with the delivery provider.
Where tracking is available, I will provide you with the tracking information.
I will deal with lost or undelivered orders in accordance with my legal obligations and your applicable consumer rights.
12. International delivery restrictions
Some countries may have restrictions on the importation of particular materials, textiles or other goods.
I reserve the right not to accept an order where I reasonably believe that the artwork cannot legally be exported from the UK or imported into the destination country.
If I am unable to fulfil an order for this reason, I will contact you and arrange an appropriate refund.
13. VAT and exports
Where applicable, UK VAT treatment for exports will be applied in accordance with HMRC rules.
The VAT and import-tax treatment in the destination country is separate and may vary according to local law.
14. Your statutory rights
Nothing in this Delivery & Customs Policy affects your statutory consumer rights.
If you are a consumer, you may have additional rights under the laws of the country in which you live. Where mandatory consumer protection laws apply, those rights will not be excluded or restricted by this policy.
